Take Control of Your Mental Health: Get the Resources and Support You Deserve

Date: 05/30/25

May is Mental Health Awareness Month. This is a great time to think about taking care of yourself, especially your mental health. Mental health is a key part of your overall well-being. It’s also closely connected to your physical health. For example, depression can increase your risk of chronic conditions like diabetes, heart disease, and stroke. In the same way chronic conditions can increase the risk of developing a mental health condition.

At Peach State Health Plan, we believe in supporting both your mental and physical health. Taking care of your mental well-being is essential to living a full, thriving life.

Here’s what you need to know:

  • Mental health isn’t just about not having a condition – it’s about handling life’s stresses, learning, working, and being part of your community.
  • You don’t need a mental health condition to face challenges. Life’s ups and downs affect everyone, and it’s important to get support when you need it.

Taking care of your mental health has never been easier. As a Peach State Health Plan member, you have access to mental health professionals through Grow Therapy who can help you with your needs whether it’s just a check-in or more long-term support.
