Date: 07/19/23

Over the past few months, Peach State Health Plan, a leading healthcare provider in Georgia, has been hosting a series of heartwarming events known as Pamper Parties. These events have been held throughout the state, aiming to support new and expecting mothers and parents by providing essential resources and a nurturing environment. With a focus on distributing diapers and baby wipes, as well as offering critical information and services, these gatherings have become a beacon of support for Georgia's families.

Peach State Health Plan understands the challenges faced by new parents and recognizes the importance of a strong support system. That's why they partnered with 45 community organizations, bringing together a wide array of resources and information in one space. At the Pamper Parties, attendees not only receive diapers and baby wipes, but they also have access to car seat safety trainings, health screenings, and other vital services. This collaborative effort ensures that families can gather the necessary information and tools to give their children the best possible start in life.

Thus far, Peach State Health Plan has hosted 13 Pamper Parties and reached more than 1,200 Georgians – including 698 Peach State Health Plan members and their children. Of those who attended, 1,000 received valuable information from our Community Relations team members, expanding awareness of the incredible benefits offered by the health plan.

Peach State Health Plan's commitment to supporting the health and well-being of Georgia's residents is evident through their efforts to create a nurturing environment and facilitate collaboration within communities. Through the Pamper Parties, Peach State Health Plan is not only addressing immediate needs but also empowering parents to make informed decisions, ensuring a brighter future for the next generation.
