Georgia Pathways Copay Update Effective October 1, 2025

Date: 09/25/25

Starting October 1, 2025, Georgia Pathways members will need to pay a copay when getting care. Copays are not required for Pathways members under age 21.

What Members Need to Know

  • Copays will be collected at your doctor’s visit or at the pharmacy.
  • If you cannot pay the copay, you will still get the covered service.
  • Copay amounts are set by the State’s Medicaid Plan.
  • Your provider can let you know if a copay applies to your visit.

What Providers Need to Know

  • Copays for Pathways members align with the State’s Medicaid Plan.
  • Please collect copays at the point of service.
  • Members cannot be denied a covered service if they are unable to pay.
  • Help remind Pathways members about this change during visits.
