Celebrating National Health Center Week: Supporting Community Health Across Georgia

During National Health Center Week (August 3-9, 2025), Peach State Health Plan (PSHP) has celebrated the important work of community health centers across Georgia that deliver high-quality, accessible care.

These centers are vital partners in promoting health equity and addressing systemic barriers. This week, we joined many of our partners at events that highlight their impact and bring communities together:

National Health Center Week Events

  • First Choice Primary Care (Macon) – Hosted a Conversation with Peach State on 8/4/2025
  • MedCura (DeKalb County) – Attended Patient Appreciation Day on 8/5/2025
  • Curtis V. Cooper Primary Health Care (Savannah) – Hosted Conversations with Peach State on 8/6/2025-8/7/2025, attended Back-to-School Event on 8/9/2025
  • Valley Healthcare System (Muscogee County) – Sponsored Patient Appreciation Day on 8/6/2025
  • Primary Care of South Georgia – Participated in Health Prevention Focus Day on 8/6/2025
  • Family Health Centers of GA – Attended Partner Appreciation Day on 8/8/2025, ongoing host of Diaper Dash events and monthly Conversations with Peach State
  • Medical Associates Plus (Augusta) – Sponsored a Summer Block Party event on 8/9/2025, including fresh produce giveaway; ongoing bi-monthly presence and recent mobile dental events with our Quality team on 7/21/2025 and 7/31/2025
