Important Update Regarding Notification of Pregnancy Incentive Payment Program

Date: 08/03/26

Thank you for your continued partnership in improving maternal and infant health outcomes for Peach State Health Plan members.

Program Update

Effective August 01, 2026, Peach State Health Plan (PSHP) will discontinue the Notification of Pregnancy (NOP) Incentive Payment Program.

Providers should continue submitting Notification of Pregnancy (NOP) forms, as applicable, to support care coordination and the early identification and engagement of pregnant members. While incentive payments are ending, timely NOP submissions remain an important part of coordinating care.

OB Pay-for-Performance Measures

Providers are also encouraged to participate in Peach State Health Plan's Obstetrical Pay-for-Performance (P4P) Program, which recognizes key evidence-based maternal health HEDIS measures, including:

  • Timely Prenatal and Postpartum Care Visits (PPC)
  •  Prenatal Immunizations (PRS-E)
  • Prenatal and Postpartum Depression
  • Screening and Follow-up (PND-E/PDS-E)

Our Shared Quality Goals

These evidence-based measures support recognized standards of care and play an important role in improving outcomes for mothers and babies. While one incentive program is ending, our shared commitment to delivering timely, high-quality maternal care remains unchanged.

We appreciate your continued partnership in supporting the health and well-being of the families we serve.
