On April 22, 2024, UnitedHealth Group issued a press release, providing an update on the Change Healthcare cybersecurity incident that occurred on Feb. 21, 2024. Given the size of the data impacted, the investigation to determine whose data is impacted is expected to take several months. UnitedHealth Group believes this situation will impact “a substantial proportion of people in America” and is offering immediate credit monitoring and identity protection services, as well as a dedicated contact center to address questions. Healthy Children Programs

Eligibility restrictions apply. Peach State Health Plan (PSHP) members must be currently enrolled with our health plan to be eligible for VABs. PSHP does not pay reimbursement fees on Value Added Benefits (VABs). Please allow up to 30 business days for processing. 

After school programs serve children and youth. These programs focus on:

  • Academic support
  • Mentoring
  • Creating new friendships
  • Improving mental health, physical health, and your child’s overall well-being

Our members get one voucher per year for sports, after school activities, and youth club memberships. To get this Value Added Benefit (VAB), please complete the form below. A legal guardian must complete the form on behalf of the member.

Qualification Requirements:

  • One voucher per child every 12 months
  • Must have completed an annual well visit and dentist visit within the last 12 months
  • Must complete separate form for each child

Boys & Girls Clubs® Membership

Covers up to $60 in annual membership fees for grades K-12. 

Qualification Requirement: Must complete Primary Care Physician (PCP) and dental provider visits after July 1, 2022

Atlanta Metro Boys & Girls Clubs are not in network. A $60 gift card will be mailed to the parents of eligible members to be redeemed at identified Metro Atlanta clubs. The member must have visited their PCP and dental provider within the last 12 months. Enjoy health plan programs and fun activities during the school year at participating clubs!

Sports Scholarship

Youth team sports participants ages 6-18 can earn up to $75 for uniforms and registration fees.

  • Available at participating Parks and Recreation Centers, YMCAs, and other select facilities
  • Sports include football, soccer, basketball, baseball, cheerleading or swimming lessons
  • Limit one sport choice per member per year

Qualification Requirement: Must complete PCP & dental provider visit after July 1, 2022

Note: 6-8 swimming lessons are covered at participating YMCAs with pools.

Girl Scouts® Membership

Covers annual membership fee for grades K-12.

  • Includes supply fee for badges and patches
