Extra Dental Services

Peach State covers more than the regular Medicaid dental services. We offer extra services for our members. Visiting your dentist is important. It is very important for pregnant members. If you are pregnant make sure you visit the dentist. We offer these extra services:

• Dental exams up to two times a year for members age 21 and over.
• Bitewing x-rays for members age 21 and over.
• Simple tooth removal for members age 21 and over.

Extra Vision Services

Peach State covers more than the regular Medicaid vision services. We have a great vision package. Visiting your eye doctor is very important. We offer these extra services:

• One eye exam each year for members 21 and over.
• One pair of glasses once per year for members age 21 and over.
• Members of all ages may choose glasses that are not in the standard Medicaid benefit package. You can apply a $40 credit toward the cost. This only includes glasses. It does not include contact lenses.
• We cover eye glass tinting one time at no cost. The tinting is only for medically needed glasses. This is only offered for members in the Southwest region.
